About the job
We are looking for one college student for a paid internship from now until June 2010. The internship pays $1,000 paid upon completion of the requirements in June.
Qualifications include: Must be a current college student. 100 hours of work between now and June are required. Must be able to work Sundays. Must be comfortable leading a worship service. Must be comfortable working with children and youth. Must be comfortable leading music in a contemporary worship service. Must have working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Publisher, Internet, and Facebook. The intern would be shadowing the Director of Christian Education and would be required to work closely with her on various projects (Sunday School, Youth activities, All-Church events, office work, etc.)
Ideal person would have a musical background (music students a plus! Guitar playing a plus!), a willingness to share their personal spiritual gifts and a yearning to grow and explore their faith.
