This vacancy was posted on 11/03/09 A new music video start-up created by Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment in partnership with Google Inc., is currently hiring interns for the Spring 2010 semester. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of one of the most exciting new companies in the entertainment industry.
We are a brand new and fast growing company, and as such our interns will have the unique opportunity to define their roles based on their own skill levels and backgrounds. All interns will be involved in a wide range of tasks from administrative to technical and creative. Our interns will gain valuable insight into the music & technology industries and learn about the dedication it takes to begin and complete a groundbreaking new project.
First and foremost, our interns must be enthusiastic, dedicated and passionate about music and technology. Organization, punctuality, reliability, self-motivation, creativity and attention to detail are all essential qualities which we require in our interns.
Some of the projects interns may be involved in assisting with, depending on their enthusiasm and background, include:
- Post-launch marketing & promotions
- YouTube integration & maintenance
- Testing & updating technical & editorial elements of the site
- Assisting in artist interviews, promo spots & in acquiring live footage.
- Defining & developing content & product ideas
We are only able to consider applications from those currently enrolled in an academic program and eligible to receive course credit. No exceptions whatsoever.
