This vacancy was posted on 11/18/09 We are an independent record label located in downtown Manhattan, and are seeking highly motivated, hard working and music loving interns.
Internship Description: Internship will be extremely hands-on, working closely with all members of staff including the artists. Duties include, but are not limited to, online promotion, research, national booking activities, working on marketing concepts, PR and assisting artists with shows. In addition, interns will work on radio promotion, contacting music directors and program directors, building relationships and getting songs airplay.
Applicants Characteristics: We're looking for passionate, highly organized and creative individuals with a love for music. Must have the ability to self-motivate, an eagerness to learn, easy-going and able to work in teams, someone that shows initiative and develops interest areas within the company, and a positive can-do attitude. We look for interns to come in at least two days a week for a substantial amount of hours a day. Opportunity is open to the public, but college students are preferred.
