Music Management Services Company Seeks In House Publicist In house, full time publicist wanted for a multi-faceted, music management company. We manage touring rock and roll bands and release their records.

We are looking for a team member to design and execute public relations campaigns to support new releases and support their tours. The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in the music industry, specializing in public relations and with music media outreach. This is the perfect opportunity for an individual who has worked as an assistant to a music publicist and is ready to develop skills, establish press/blog relationships and take the next step in developing his/her career.

Duties include: - Organize the artist web sites and online press packages - Write and create artist bios and press release materials - Seek out and gain press exposures in support of artist tours - Schedule, coordinate and follow up on press and radio interviews - Design and execute PR campaigns for new releases - Report results of activities for management and record label - Development and manage press database - Administrative PR duties (phone, fax, mailings, emails, etc.) - Initiating new ideas and finding new media outlets - Work with artists to maintain updated pictures and bios - Give input on marketing tactics - Coordinate with our internet marketing person 2 years of experience in public relations and music business environment is preferred. Strong communication, grammatical, computer and phone skills are a must! Please do not call.
