Hello, we are an established cover band and we have gigs around the San Jose area. We are looking for someone who can learn 40+ songs in the next month to month and a half. We were playing 3 times a month when are former guitarist had to leave for personal reasons. We would like someone who could gig 3 to 8 times a month. We are all laid back, friendly, have fun playing music, have experience playing small and large venues in both cover and original bands, and have professional grade equipment. We are looking for someone who takes playing covers seriously, wants to pack the dance floor, make good money, and have fun while we do it. We have made some requirements in order to help narrow down what we are looking for. If you meet these please send an e-mail so we can schedule an audition sometime in the next week. - Have good quality equipment including effects (a squire and a 50w SS amp wont due) - Between 21 and 31 years old (we are 25-30 and want to keep a young look) - Have time to rehearse once a week in West San Jose until we are rock solid. - Be able to do your part and learn the songs before rehearsal - Easy to get a long with, serious but not to serious, and enjoys playing music.
