The Graphic Designer is responsible for combining graphic and user-interface design, front-end coding (html/css), flash banners and basic flash animations for MySpace communities, and some light java/ajax/xml.
We design communities and profiles for events, original content, contests, interactive product design, and some print work. There’s never a boring day here! Our designers are part of a growing marketing/product design team, and are empowered to be as creative as possible. We are looking for people that can work on quick turnarounds, manage their own task-load, learn quickly and are interested in growing their skills, and are up for a challenge!

Responsibilities:
- Advanced knowledge of html/dhtml/css. We don’t expect anyone to be a front-end coding encyclopedia, but if you’re the sort of person who knows how to look for and find the answers to your own questions and tries to keep learning new things all the time, then you’re our kind of person.
- Working knowledge and ability to implement javascript functions (nothing too fancy, just some basics and the occasional implementation of more complicated functions that are provided and integrated into our work by developers)
- Strong flash design skills (mainly for banner production, although knowledge of ActionScript 2.0/3.0 a huge plus – as we grow we will inevitably use more flash to create more powerful communities/profiles)
- Basic SEO knowledge a plus (if you’re still not too versed with SEO best practices, as long as you are willing to learn and pick things up quickly)
- Ability to edit and update XML.

Qualifications:
-4-5 years of fulltime web/graphic experience minimum
-Expert knowledge of photoshop/illustrator/fireworks/indesign for graphic/UI design
-Portfolio required
