We provide multi-cultural music education and performance programs for children and youth, fostering talent, confidence and community.
We will be holding a music festival on Saturday afternoon, June 5. The Fundraising Coordinator will coordinate all aspects of fundraising and marketing for the festival. This position is 8-10 hours/week through June 11, 2010.
This position will be responsible for:
Garnering corporate sponsorship
Coordinating accompanying auction
Securing ads for ad book; coordinating publication
Event publicity, including press placement, calendar listings, etc.
Overseeing design of publicity materials
Working closely with our board of directors, staff, and Festival Production Manager
Experience Required:
Fundraising from corporate sponsors
Planning and executing fundraising events
Securing donations and advertising
Publicity, including working with press
