female vocalist needed for independent CD release to do backup tracks and some lead vocals. Fully paid studio session work. our mission is to publish our songs with a good vocalist; you can benefit by having a published product with your name on it to be proud of. music type is Funk, R&B, Pop, Rock, Soul, 80s, 90s.

Singer must have some FIRE and the ability to learn standard pop style material with correct inflections. the accent is on funk and R&B so a soulful approach with an edge is desired. we are not holding physical auditions and we are not interested in going through lengthy tryouts. the type of candidate we are interested in will have a portfolio of recorded work that we can listen to to determine whether or not the candidate will be right for our project. If the candidates demos or discography matches our needs then we will hire the candidate in for a session immediately. At the current time we are not accepting any applicants that do not have demo recordings for us to review in advance, as candidates will be chosen based on their demos. if the candidate is selected we expect her to learn the material from our demo recordings prior to arriving at the studio. Learning the song on studio time is something we would like to avoid if possible, so the candidate would have to be able to do the homework required to arrive at the studio prepared to record with 90% of the material memorized and rehearsed before they arrive at the studio. we are willing to pay a decent fee for studio work for the right candidate, we need to make sure you are the correct style and range for our material before committing to having you in the studio, instead of finding that out after the fact. so please let us know where we can hear demos of your work online or call us to make arrangements to get a recording of your demo to us for consideration. there is no funny business involved with this opportunity. straight up we need a good vocalist to do tracks and we will pay for them. this could turn into longer term opportunities for the right artist.
