This vacancy was posted on 03/10/10 We are a powerhouse 11-piece New Orleans flavored blues band is looking for a blues singer who can sing both lead vocals and background harmonies.
We're a big big band with a big sound w/ horns. We play Blues, Funk, Rock, Jam, R&B, jazz, New Orleans Mardis Gras and gospel Music. We are seeking a strong singer/front person who can work the band and the audience. Must be adept at both lead & harmony singing. Should have good stage presence and look. Be cool with sharing the lead vocals duties. A major plus if you do some song writing or are open to doing originals and collaborating.
We have paying gigs. Some pay better than other. please be prepared to take the good with the bad.
