PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO BUSY CEO
Personal assistant to CEO of one of the world’s leading cable and accessories manufacturers.
This position will start out in a temporary capacity to allow both the candidate and the CEO an opportunity to get work together for a one month+ term before a final decision is made.

This position calls for someone who can work days and schedules that are subject to change according to the demands of the CEO’s travel and work commitments.
Flexibility is essential.
Prefer someone with a current passport to be prepared for immediate international travel.
Skills and Experience:
The descriptions include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain CEO's extremely busy calendar and appointment schedule. The CEO travels a great deal and flight and meeting commitments can often times change with little to no notice.
Must be experienced in arranging international travel, hotel, and transportation accommodations.
Need to be the resource and extension of CEO to other internal staff and external business partners and associates.
Embrace a right now response time understanding in responding to the inquiries and needs of the company that require the CEO’s immediate attention.
Travel and attend tradeshows, and Music Events with CEO. Need to be available for major tradeshow events between September and January which could mean limited vacation time during these periods.
Must be able to understand priority and think in terms of solutions in the event something goes off course with a schedule or travel plan.
Need to have alternate solutions mapped out to strategically execute unforeseen problems and issues that may come up due to scheduling or other work and project commitments for the CEO.
Attend meetings with the CEO and take notes as needed.
Work with sales, training, marketing, product development and the executive committee in scheduling meetings and conference calls as needed.
Assist with interview set up and changes. This includes working with IT, recruiter and CEO to arrange on site as well as Skype interviews for non-local residents.
Work with the executive and personal assistants of other companies.
Develop relationships with CEA (Consumer Electronics Association) and other executives.
Reach out to CEO’s contacts to be proactive in building relationships.
Availability Times:
• Check Blackberry and respond to phone calls in a reasonable amount of time.
• Take calls and/or attend meetings after hours and at times on the weekend.
• Meet each day during the tradeshows and other events in the evening and mornings to go over schedules.
• Pack the CEO’s luggage for international and domestic trips.
• Attend meetings with the CEO and take notes as needed.
• Arrange and attend doctor’s appointments with CEO if needed.
• Assist with family and personal needs if needed. This could include picking up or dropping off the CEO and family members at the airport.
• Be a leader with the Executive team and drive a weekly meeting
Required Skills:
3-5 years experience supporting a CEO
Word, Excel, PowerPoint; heavy calendaring
Education:
College degree preferred
