About the job

A New York-based magazine that covers hard rock and heavy metal, seeks an intern to assist its editors during the fall semester. Interested applicants must be available two to three days a week and currently enrolled in classes, as this is for college credit only.
The ideal candidate possesses at least two out of the three following qualifications: He or she is studying either journalism or English; has experience proofreading, fact-checking, and writing about music; and/or can name two former bass players in Metallica. Also, the intern will have several duties related to maintaining the magazines website, and its pages on social networking sites so he or she must be web-savvy and should be familiar with Photoshop.
