We are looking to hire an E-Commerce Merchandiser in our Denver, CO office!

As an E-Commerce Merchandiser you are responsible for best enabling our customers to find the music they are looking for and even the music they don’t know they are looking for in a timely & efficient way. To accomplish this you will work closely with our marketing and label management teams to ensure the appropriate management, marketing and promotion of the content in your assigned genres. Using your deep knowledge of these genres, you will develop and maintain the presence of the genre within the company store. Function as the point person for identifying trends and developing a proactive approach to impact sales and our identity within the niche electronic communities.

Some of the typical job responsibilities include:
• Listen to new releases and update site pages.
• Provide editorial reviews of new releases and contribute features to our news site.
• Use analytics tools to review the effectiveness of content selection and report weekly to the Manager of Merchandising.
• Monitor and update displayed content available in the store.
• Initiate, approve, and maintain relevant label signings with the label management team and identify classic content within our existing catalogue.
• Perform weekly site updates to the assigned genre pages showcasing the most relevant and impactful releases, charts, labels, and artists and then subsequently using analytic tools to review and report the effectiveness of selected content.
• Perform research and analysis of trends and styles within their selected field and music genre in order to be able to predict where future sales lie.
• Role will also involve developing relationships with contemporary electronic musicians in order to source and acquire DJ charts as well as other landing page components.

To land this job you’ll need to have:
• 2+ years experience relevant merchandising experience or retail, marketing or promotions experience in the music industry
• A broad range of music knowledge as well as an extensive background within the industry
• Solid organization, communication and administrative skills
• Ability to use Excel and the skills to interpret statistical data, generate reports and charts

And it will be an added bonus if you’ve got:
• Musical knowledge in dubstep, techno and breaks genres
• Skills with Google Analytics, PowerPoint and Photoshop
• Blog writing or journalism experience
• DJ, studio or live performance experience
