Drum Instructor needed for School of Rock in Vista

Candidate should be at least 21 years of age. Prefer a metal/hard rock/double bass specialist. Music degree (AA or better) desirable but not required. Know and be proficient at rudiments and how to apply them on the drum kit. Read, write, and understand rhythms using standard notation. Proficient at odd meters. Have a teaching background, especially with children. Good communication skills a MUST. Know, play, and be able to teach a variety of feels: shuffle, swing, Latin beats, etc. Good knowledge and love of Classic Rock, and all the great drummers of that heritage. Be a working musician; i.e., in a band that gigs. Have chops that awe your peers and will blow away the kids. Work hours are based on your availability and pay is based on your skill and experience.
