Director of Music

About the job

We are seeking a Director of Music to lead song and worship in this ethnically diverse faith community. Candidate must have a strong background in sacred music, along with experience in leading Gospel worship and familiarity with the rich tradition of Black Catholic spirituality as expressed through music.

Responsibilities will include conducting choir rehearsals, leading the music liturgy at two Masses every Sunday and taking on additional Masses and services during the height of the liturgical year. The Director of Music will also provide the musical liturgy for parish revivals and retreats. Compensation package includes salary and health benefits.
