We are seeking a Director of Finance for the Orchestral Association. Main Duties: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Director of Finance manages the financial and budgetary operations. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Arts Administration, or a related field, supplemented by at least five years of progressively responsible professional, orchestra, performing arts management, accounting, financial management, and/or project management experience, plus four years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.

Considerable knowledge of accounting, auditing, financial management, budgeting, cost analysis and forecasting principles. Considerable skill in preparing budgets and financial reports. Ability to manage and coordinate the work of subordinate staff, establish effective working relationships, and establish/implement policies and procedures. Considerable organizational, computer, research, human relations, and written and oral communication skills. Available to work evenings and weekends. Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
