We are seeking a Director of Corporate Sponsorship.

This position is responsible for identifying and leveraging opportunities to significantly increase the number and size of sponsorships for our music festival, on-campus integrated marketing engagements, live music tours and events, our online and mobile channels and print products.

A successful candidate must have a strong track record in identifying, selling, building and managing sponsorships; the position requires a proven ability to generate and close sponsorship deals for a broad array of integrated opportunities across our multi-channel distribution platform.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage a comprehensive corporate sponsorship program that leverages all opportunities available to advertisers and sponsors, including music festival programs and events, live concerts, college marketing initiatives, emerging music campaigns and our growing online and mobile presence.
-Develop, pitch and sell sponsorship packages which qualify and quantify the impact of brand impressions across the substantial reach of our range of communication and distribution channels as well as our music marathon, film festival and other live events.
-Pitch proposals will include select sponsorship levels, sponsor recognition and media exposure.
-In tandem with marketing and community engagement team leaders, develop and produce collateral materials for use in acquisition of corporate sponsorship.
-Research, identify and pitch corporate prospects to support our company through sponsorships and partnership programs.
-Establish, cultivate, and maintain personal contact and relationships with target corporate marketing officers, executives and their respective agency counterparts.
-In tandem with marketing and community engagement team leaders, manage submission of sponsorship proposals and other correspondence, including letters of intent, solicitation letters, proposals, budgets, acknowledgements, and presentations
-Work closely with the marketing deployment team to execute sponsorships and manage all facets of activation.

Desired Skills & Experience:
-Proven track record in selling multiple major sponsorships in music/media/technology/college marketing space
-Demonstrated knowledge of methods for obtaining information about marketing programs and demographic/psychographic strategies of target corporations; ability to identify corporate brands that fit well with the mission and goals of our company
-A demonstrated ability to regularly set and achieve sales goals; must be creative, strategic, highly motivated, well organized with strong sales development skills
-Excellent organizational, interpersonal and networking skills, with large groups as well as with individuals
-Ability to travel as required
-A minimum 5-7+ years demonstrated successful corporate sales and sponsor development or equivalent experience
-Must possess a passion for music, media and technology and the cross-fertilization among these spheres
