We are seeking a Director, Brand Partnerships.
Purpose of Role:
To service the needs of artists and consumer brands by developing successful, integrated marketing platforms that drive revenue and profitability for all stakeholders.
Key deliverables:
Brand Partnerships Strategies
• Ensure Brand Partnership is represented and integrated into all stages of an artist lifecycle from “launch” to catalogue
• Develop plan with publishing department to represent non-recorded music artists
• Develop and sell-in solutions-based, 360° music platforms to consumer brand partners toward long-term win-win solutions while securing our company's best interests; achieve partnership relationships with applicable key accounts
• Maximize non-US artist opportunities in partnership with global brands and global team. Focus on digital music programs, social activation, sponsorship (internal and external as a rep), product placement, label platform for Brand Partnerships
• Explore all other unique revenue generating opportunities that exploit our company's global rights
• Successfully leverage insights and research to effectively match artists and consumer brands
• Upstream information on all competitive and marketplace activities internally
• Ensure delivery of the agreed objectives and budget for the group/region; consistently meet Brand Partnership Budget
• Full integration into “Launch Process”
New Business
• Develop and support integrated brand programs/campaigns to increase commercial awareness such as tours and events for brands (i.e. college tour) and Grammy party sponsorship
• Create integrated programs featuring key artists from our company that support and build brand awareness and strength for both our products and our partners’ products
• Maintain and grow relationships with clients and brands
• Build an extensive contact list of potential corporate partners for our company

• Develop and maintain executive relationships across key synchronization and licensing areas in order to implement our strategy, maximize opportunities, and stay abreast of market conditions
• Demonstrate effective use of policies and practices balancing customer needs with our company's priorities
• Develop and maintain cooperative relationships with other functional areas of our company
Teamwork and Leadership
• Exhibit an outgoing, sales-pitching mentality
• Convey the vision for driving results, ensuring resources to achieve quality, efficiency, and timeliness of results
• Act as a role model of our company's success factors
Other Specific Requirements:
Essential
• Degree qualified (business, marketing, communications) or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of agency, property (entertainment or sports) or corporate marketing experience in a sales and/or marketing role; to include revenue generation, brand management, and consumer research
• Strong knowledge of and passion for a wide variety of musical genres
• High attention to detail and accustomed to meeting deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, responding to issues promptly with a strong orientation toward customer service
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees and management
• Positive attitude and team player
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Willingness to travel domestically
Desirable
• Experience developing and executing integrated digital, social and mobile marketing plans
• Demonstrated experience increasing brand awareness and company revenue through well-executed marketing efforts
• Established network of key brand and/or ad agency contacts
• Experience in and knowledge of the music industry
