RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Director, Development Operations, this entry-level position in the Planning & Development department assists with the administration and execution of Development Operations, supporting all areas of the annual campaign.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Conducting prospect research utilizing multiple online resources; maintaining and organizing in-house research materials.
• Reviewing donor recognition on marketing and PR materials, on our website and in all house programs.
• Maintaining the annual donor list, updated monthly for publication in all house programs and on the website.
• Overseeing distribution of donor newsletter three times per year.
• Tracking state registration requirements and assist in completion of applications and reports.
• Working on database projects as assigned.
• Providing support to database users as a Power User with knowledge of operating procedures in Gift, Payment, Tracking, Contact, Prospect, Memo and Interest modules.
• Providing back-up for daily gift processing.
• Daily proofing of gift entry.
• Providing customer service and assisting with benefit fulfillment for Producer Circle donors.
• Organizing and maintaining department expense records.
• Preparing T&E forms, processing invoices and petty cash receipts.
• Providing overall general administrative support: schedule meetings as needed; answer phones; filing and creating new files.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 2-3 years related development experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Word, Excel and database experience.
• Ability to multi-task with close attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of a project.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree.
