This vacancy was posted on 11/17/09 We are looking for a few part time teachers. We currently have two positions:
1. We are looking for a teacher on Tuesdays from 5:15-9:30pm. Classes include hip hop, tap, jazz, and lyrical (ages 12 to adult). Our classes run from mid August through mid June with an end of year recital in June. This position will include teaching class based on our curriculum, choreographing a recital dance, cutting music, and providing children with a fun atmosphere to learn dance.
2. We are looking for a teacher to take over a current teacher's maternity leave starting after Christmas through mid June. These classes include some of our company dancers. Must be proficient in jazz, ballet, and lyrical. Must have experience teaching competitive groups. We have an opening for Wednesdays from 3:30-9:15 and Thursdays from 4:15-9pm (you do not need to be available for entire time, we will consider different teachers for different classes).
