About the job
We are seeking a friendly, diligent Customer Service/Scheduling Associate for our music school, jam club and venue.
Responsibilities include:
-Scheduling customers for lessons and rehearsal appointments
-Selling retail items
-Selling and doing minor preparation of food and beverage items
-Studio maintenance and set-up
-Selling tickets at shows
-Executing in-venue promotions
-General administrative and office tasks.
Roughly 20-25 hours per week during the following time slots:
-7:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday
-9:30 - 4:30 Saturday (usually 2 per month)
-Plus, 2 to 3 Friday/Saturday nights per month, and one weekday close shift/week (7-10 pm).
This is part time job and does not include benefits.
Requirements:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Friendly and engaging conversationalist
-Comfortable engaging new customers
-Computer proficiency and aptitude
-Exceptional attitude and work ethic
-21+ years of age required (we serve beer and wine)
-Success in college courses strongly preferred
-We'd like to hire musicians and/or hard core music fans!
