We are seeking a part-time Box Office & Customer Service Associate. The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide students, concert patrons, and guests with great customer service and to be knowledgeable about us and our programming. Essentially, provide customers with a very positive experience.
Responsibilities: Specific responsibilities for providing excellent customer service.
· Ensure a high level of customer service and dependability, offering superior and individualized guest service.
· Accurately operate computer system to sell tickets, classes, workshops, private lessons, merchandise, memberships, gift certificates, and donations during Music events and school hours.
· Be knowledgeable of our events, programs, facility, teachers, and staff to best assist customers.
· Problem-solve and effectively communicate with students and guests.
· Trouble-shoot teachers’ schedules for absences, cancellations and gaps.
· Notify teachers of their schedules.
· Maintain timely and appropriate communications with students in regards to schedule changes, teacher cancellations, etc.
· Check and return email enquiries from the website.
· Assist with miscellaneous box office projects as directed.
· Correctly reconcile and accurately put together a deposit report.
· Assist with end of night closing procedures.
Qualifications:
· Great customer service skills, including excellent telephone and in-person manner
· High attention to detail and the ability to juggle simultaneous tasks.
· The ability to handle money transactions responsibly and accurately.
· General competence with computers and internet is necessary. Specific training will be provided for the software in use.
· Familiarity with education, music, box office is a plus.
· Patience.
· Ability to work Thursday evening and potentially Friday and Saturday evenings and occasionally fill-in for other Box Office and Customer Service associates on other days.

Supervisor: Hired, trained and supervised by Senior Customer Service Manager.
Pay: $10/hour base. Increases based on experience and favorable review.
Hours: Initially, 8-hours guaranteed on Thursday, with the potential to expand up to 24-hours a week within 2 months.
