Research and confirm publisher splits and ownership Request reduced rates from publishers Request Mechanical Licenses Request Digital Mechanical Licenses Data entry into royalty system Follow-up with publishers frequently via fax, email, telephone. Negotiate licenses Assist Director of Copyright & Licensing with any projects as needed
Desired Skills 2-3 years music licensing experience required Strong organizational and administrative skills Ability to learn quickly, especially computer programs Strong analytical skills Experience in Microsoft Excel and Word Ability to follow projects through to the end Strong Email and Phone etiquette Reports to: Director of Copyright & Licensing Medical and Dental Benefits. 401k Plan
