We are a San Diego based company, founded in 2005, specializing in providing top of the line, digital classical music services to classical music lovers, classical musicians, and performing arts presenters.
Our website, was launched in late 2007. Our concert listings rapidly became the most comprehensive index of Classical Music events on the Internet.
We are seeking qualified individuals to join our Concert Listings Data Entry projects.
Ideal Qualifications: (listed in order of importance)
• Excellent computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, copy/paste).
• Strong attention to detail (spelling, punctuation, proof reading).
• Willingness to adopt and internalize our established data entry syntax.
• Basic knowledge of classical music composers and their major works.
• Some familiarity with one of these languages: German, Italian, French, or Latin.
Position Description:
We are capturing large amounts of classical music Concert Listings and transcribing these into our database.
You can see examples of the types of concert listings you would be creating for our website by visiting our website.
You should be knowledgeable of/or willing to familiarize yourself with the types of musical work titles, names of composers, performers, and ensembles you see in these Concert Listings. We provide complete orientation and training on the data entry format and procedures.
Applicants must be detail oriented, punctual, comfortable working in a group environment, yet also comfortable working independently once your have completed our training.
Work Hours and Project Duration:
Mondays to Thursdays, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some Friday shifts may also be scheduled. Employment is part-time, for a temporary time period, on a per project basis. The Company will consider rehiring individuals on a case by case basis for future projects.
