Church Music Director

About the job

We are looking for a Music Director.
Responsibilities: planning and coordination of all musical parts of worship services in conjunction with the Pastors, organist and the Music and Worship Committee. Directs and schedules the following choirs for worship and rehearsals (September May) Adult Choir, Womens Ensemble, Childrens Choir and Bell Choir.
Qualifications: formal education in music field. Previous experience as a music director or affiliation with religious musical groups. Practical knowledge of harmony and score reading. Good interpersonal skills. Reliable. Enthusiastic. Good organization skills. Ability to play piano or other musical instruments preferred but not required.
