We are seeking a dynamic and inspiring Choir Director to lead our children's choir, which includes singers in grades 2 – 4.
The ideal candidate will uphold the organization’s artistic integrity and demonstrate mastery of diverse musical styles and repertoire for young voices while instilling a love for music and a desire for artistic excellence.
Candidate Requirements
-B.A. Music Degree
-Excellent rehearsal, conducting and organizational skills
-Collaborative spirit
-A sincere interest and love for working with beginning choral singers (Grades 2 – 4)
-Passion for both musical excellence and character
development in children and youth
-Minimum 3 years of experience
Job Description:
-Direct singers in rehearsals and
performances
-Select quality choral literature with respect to voice and age
-Select singers through an audition process
Interviews will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012.
