We're a small boutique production company looking for someone to step into a business development / new media role with contacts to help build business and close deals.

Currently, we're running around like chickens with our heads cut off as a small staff. As such, we need someone to step in to be the closer, so that we can focus on making sure we complete projects that we take on.

The job entails:

- Interfacing with potential business partners
- Reaching out to potential clients (including cold calling/emailing)
- Reaching out to clients for post-job satisfaction
- Identifying key areas for business development and client procurement
- Attending conferences & trade shows (paid for by company) to network/build business

The candidate will have:

- Good social skills
- Great communication/email skills
- Great at following up and closing business leads
- Great at creating opportunities
- Contacts in the production/new media industry

Compensation:

Initially, the current candidate would be on a three month probationary period, where they would receive a 20% commission on all business procured during that time period. After the three months, depending upon results, the candidate would be transferred to a full time employee with a salary base and bonus/initiative structure set in place based upon performance.
