RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement new audio management layers within game engine
Work closely with audio staff, developing new technology
Develop in-depth knowledge of our proprietary technologies
Integrate 3rd party software into in-house system
Participate in technical implementation and test plans
Estimate delivery time for work in progress
Qualifications
Previous experience programming audio and audio architecture
Passionate about making games
2+ years of professional programming experience
Degree in computer science
Highly proficient in C++ and object oriented concepts
Comfortable creating architectures and engine level designs
Ability to create technical design documents for said architecture
Good communication skills with technical and non-technical colleagues
Able to work in a team atmosphere with schedules and reliable milestone delivery
PLUSES:
Experience with FMOD or audio APIs
Understanding of DSP, audio principles, and signal flow
Experience with dynamic audio
Proven technical expertise on PSP, PS2, Xbox, Gamecube, or PC
Experience developing for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii
Experience with prototyping technologies, such as UML
