We are a high-end special events production company in business for over 23 years, is in search for a qualified Audio Technician. We built our reputation as a full service supplier with an extensive inventory of the newest technology of audio, lighting, staging, temporary power solutions, and video production equipment. Candidate’s minimum responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Operate Yamaha PM4000, Yamaha PM5D-RH, Midas Siena, Verona + Venice Consoles, JBL Vertec, VRX, EAW 750 Series speakers, and similar equipment
•Patch effect racks, amp racks, and mixing consoles. Operate digital system processors, and digital mixing consoles
•Install and tune audio systems, and properly time align
•Design, install, operate and maintain audio systems
•Independently and productively utilize the following: MS Office Suite, Internet applications, Intelevent, VectorWorks, Audio Analysis Software (such as SMAART).
•Down rigging and flying of various sound systems and ancillary equipment
•Act as a Crew Chief and/or Technical Director in a set up or show environment
•Take direction and cues from a Technical Director and/or Producer in a set up or show environment
•Function as a Technical Operator and Problem Solver in a dynamic, high pressure show environment
•Read and interpret site diagrams, location maps, plots, etc.
•Understand and troubleshoot single and three phase A/C Power Distribution
•Generator Operation
•Operate and troubleshoot single and three phase motor hoist systems
•Operate personnel and equipment lifts such as Genie AWP-30, ST-25, and Sumner Eventer
•Fabricate, maintain and troubleshoot XLR, multi-pin, NL4/NL8, Edison, Camlok and various other cable and connector types.
•Work at elevated levels of 5 feet or higher.
•Load and Unload various equipment from company trucks
•Operate automatic and manual company vehicles up to 26 foot non-CDL box trucks
•Work in both event/venue sites and warehouse environment
•Work in areas outside of the audio environment, such as lighting, staging, video, carpentry, etc.
•Travel when required
•Other duties as assigned
Minimum Position Qualifications:
•Ability to produce and maintain a clean and valid driver's license and meet company vehicle driving standards
•Lift a minimum of 75 pounds consistently
•Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card and a forklift operator certification
•Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing
•Basic Windows computer skills including Microsoft Office; more specific skills with Intelevent Express will be necessary; training provided
•Due to the nature of this position, you must be able to work nights and weekends on short notice.
•Drug and Background tests performed
