This vacancy was posted on 11/20/09 We have several openings for Assistant to the Director (weekend position) at our music schools located in Ardmore, Conshohocken, and Montgomeryville PA.
This position involves interfacing with hundreds of our students and their families each week in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. This is part time weekend position, Saturdays and/or Sundays, plus occasional opportunities to work on weekdays or weekday evenings. Your responsibilities will include scheduling, giving tours of the school, enrolling new students,
and providing customer service to students of the school.
Our schools are modern facilities located in mainstream shopping centers.
Hours may vary, but typically include:
Saturday (9-5) and/or Sunday (10-5)
You may be requested to fill in on weekdays, if you do not have other work conflicts.
Requirements include:
A college degree in music, music education, music business, or other formal training in music
Excellent communication skills
Engaging personality - Must take a genuine interest in our students and their needs
Must dress appropriately
Good computer and typing skills.
Commitment to 100% reliable attendance - no outside work or personal conflicts.
Must live within a 30 minute commute of Ardmore (Zip 19003), Conshohocken (Zip 19428), or Montgomeryville (Zip 19454)
Compensation and Benefits:
You are paid as a monthly payroll (W2) employee with taxes withheld.
Base pay rate is $15 per hour, plus benefits:
Beginning in 7th month: A 10% bonus (additional $1.50/hour) is added to each paycheck, paid to your personal IRA retirement account at Fidelity Investments.
