We are seeking an Assistant Production Coordinator whose main focus will be to assist the Production Department with all concerts presented during the three-month summer season. The position is part-time from April through May and full-time from June to September. Employees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement. We are a Union house, so there are no technical/on-stage aspects to this position. This position reports to the Production Coordinator, Production Manager and Artistic Producers.

Duties
• Manage day to day backstage operations.
• Maintain master production schedule in conjunction with Production Coordinator.
• Maintain production department inventory.
• With Production Coordinator and Production Manager, hire and train production interns and manage Internship Program.
• Serve as contact for First-Aid staff and oversee artist and house doctor needs.
• Oversee timely creation of classical artists’ arrival packets.
• Assist in distribution of staff and artist parking passes.
• Assist in maintaining parking schedule.
• Issue keys/security passes for seasonal staff.
• Create weekly production intern work schedules in conjunction with Production Coordinator.
• Reconcile petty cash and charge card statements and pay invoices as necessary in conjunction with Production Coordinator.
• Participate in production meetings and communicate with artistic, production and technical staff, as well as artists, to ensure proper dissemination of information.
• Oversee artist hospitality and transportation in conjunction with Production Coordinator.
• Manage production advances, artist complimentary tickets, and artist merchandise as directed by Production Coordinator.
• Manage intranet content in conjunction with Production Coordinator.
• Concert duty as assigned by Production Coordinator.
• Manage and report seasonal staff payroll in conjunction with Production Coordinator.

• Superior interpersonal skills
• Great attention to detail
• The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience supervising staff
• Ability to work outside of normal business hours - this position involves extensive evening and weekend hours, seven days a week
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Clean driving record

Compensation
Paid hourly from April through May. Weekly salaried (exempt) June to September. Free attendance at all concerts. Some meals provided.
