We are seeking an Artistic Director for our community non-auditioned 150 member choir and possibly our auditioned chamber ensemble.
Primary responsibilities for the Artistic Director include:
1) Implement our mission and vision. Work closely with the Executive Director and Board of Directors to support and promote the mission and vision.
2) Plan, design, organize, and present three major concerts annually as well as community concerts. Work with the music committee to ensure the repertoire supports mission and vision.
3) Serve as the Artistic Director
4) Acquire all music, rights, permissions, arrangements and approvals for any repertoire selected, working closely with the Music Librarian and within budgeted amounts.
5) Recruit, select, hire, supervise and evaluate accompanists and section leaders.
6) Formulate, implement and monitor annual and long range plans, goals, and objectives for Choir.
