POSITION PROFILE
The Account Manager is responsible for proactively managing an assigned base of business with the desired result of driving overall cancellations down and selling to the existing base with desired result of selling more then what was canceled to bring in a net gain to the managed territory.

REPORTING STRUCTURE
The Local Account Manager reports directly to the Sales & Client Relations Manager in the region.

DUTIES
•Respond to cancellation attempts within 24 hours of submittal.
•Be an initial contact for the client when they encounter problems, have questions, or needs to be resolved.
•Actively note all client interactions (including attempts to reach the client) in the Client Request System.
•Annually update all account records with contact and pertinent information for assigned base.
•Up sell additional services offered by us.
•Develop strategic direct marketing campaigns.
•Proactively prospect within assigned base in order to bring in new clients to us.
•Attend networking events and participate in vertical market associations for new business opportunities.
•Provide day-to-day support for the client’s interactions within our community.

QUALIFICATIONS
•Excel, Word, and Outlook proficient. Use of PowerPoint a plus.
•Ability to learn about and become technically proficient in all of our products and services.
•Excellent verbal and writing skills.
•Professional demeanor.
•Excellent customer service skills in person and over the phone.
•Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
