We are seeking a talented Account Manager to manage our web properties and to supervise a service program aimed at our songwriter clients. The position is half client facing and half product management.
The right person will understand how to communicate effectively with all varieties of people: business professionals, creative professionals, technicians, and musicians. You will love to make others feel comfortable, but also know when and how to protect company interests.
The writer service program is a balance of operations and client relations. You will be responsible for tracking the work of your colleagues, gathering content, and producing custom written reports for our clients. You will also manage the channels, timing, and distribution of all outbound communication. We are ready to empower you with developing a client web portal that allows for real-time reporting.
Simultaneously, you will be managing an existing suite of consumer-facing websites and internal databases, which make up the operational backbone of our company. This entails supporting day-to-day usage, developing solutions for new requirements, and overseeing system upgrades.
What we're looking for
* 2-5 years agency experience in a Producer, Account Manager, Product Manager, or other client facing role (preferably 1+ year managing own accounts)
* Experience working with large-scale websites and/or content management systems (preferably with budgeting responsibility)
* Experience overseeing development of at least (2) medium-scale websites and has deep familiarity with the challenges of all stages: I.A., Art Direction/Production, Coding, Deployment
* Experience with estimating time and materials of I.A., Design, and Coding-based deliverables
* Someone with a portfolio of self-produced strategic documents and PowerPoint presentations that defined project mandates
* Enough fluency in technical processes to manage developers and translate technical issues into layman's terms
* Experience managing entire RFP process: soliciting functional requests from all stakeholders; synthesizing business requirements into one-pager; seeking, vetting, and selection of developers
* Someone with a strong existing network of top-shelf agency and freelance professional contacts. |
