The ideal candidate will be a “street warrior” focusing on new direct business development for the purpose of generating radio and web based advertising programs that result in a successful marketing result for our clients.
· Responsible for the sales and service of existing accountsagencies.
· Create copy and promotions for clients to develop andor maximize market share of new potential revenue opportunities.
· Develop strategies that will increase advertising rates.
· Get competitive information on all buys
· Responsible for collections of accounts assigned.
· Responsible for maintaining all aspects of product knowledge for radio and web based advertising platforms.
· Communicate with all departments in the developing and completion of revenue.
· Responsible for maintaining a daily/weekly/monthly sales plan related to the tracking, results, and quality of business.
· Develop strategies that will generate new or incremental radio and internet advertising business with major accounts.
· Exemplify a positive image for the station and CBS Radio and demonstrate a team effort.
· Responsible for daily workflow that maximizes time management.

Required Skills/Experience
The successful candidates must possess exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation skills. They must be self-motivated, goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive. In addition, the right candidate must have:
· High school graduate; college preferred.
· Prior experience in sales/marketing; previous radio sales experience preferred.
· Must also have basic knowledge of MS office products, i.e., MS Word and Windows environment.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance.

Preferred Skills/Experience
* College preferred.
* Previous radio sales experience or other media sales.

Minimum Education Level HS Diploma or GED
