We are seeking an Accompanist.
Responsibilities include:
-Accompanying rehearsals on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
-Leading sectional rehearsals
-Playing for coaching with soloists, and for dress rehearsals
-Accompanying performances as repertory requires
Season runs from early September through May.
We are presently preparing Mozart's Great C Minor Mass, K. 427, including the Pan-American Premiere of a new completion by Dr. Benjamin-Gunnar Cohrs of Bremen, Germany. Performance in NYC on May 19, 2012.
Qualifications:
-Choral accompanying experience
-Ability to read open choral scores
-Performance level proficiency on piano and organ
