San Diego Music Thing Conference

The San Diego Music Thing (SDMT) conference is an annual two day event that sees a mixture of musicians, managers, indie labels, A&R scouts, publishing folks and many more music industry professionals converge on Lafayette Hotel in North Park. Now in its fifth year, the SDMT aims to share knowledge and experience of the music business with attendees via interactive roundtable sessions as well as keynotes and presentations.

Taking place on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th September 2012, the daytime events also extend into demo review sessions, a trade show, mentoring, happy hour parties, an acoustic poolside stage, and the opportunity to meet and mingle with your music industry peers. The nighttime shows will offer over 150 local, regional and national bands at 14 different venues around San Diego.
